Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from contamination.2. Ensure any mould or mildew has been removed, and surfaces treated with a proprietary fungicidal solution.3. If wax or oil has previously been used on the item, clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit.4. If painting over hard, glossy existing paint, abrade the surface before application.5. If spraying, paint should be diluted with water 10-20% as required.6. Treat bare timber with a suitable wood preservative when required prior to painting.7. To ensure paint suitability, test on a small inconspicuous area first.
